Going to Melaka for our birthday trip was a good decision. We were thinking twice because, as we all know, we are still in the middle of a pandemic. However, things have improved here since October. So, we thought it was worth the risk since we had been travel-deprived for nearly two years. Besides, we did not want to miss another birthday trip, something we traditionally do each year. Then off we went. For the first day, also my birthday, we went to Seoul Garden for a Korean buffet lunch. I ate seafood, while the boys had chicken and beef to go with the banchan. After lunch, we headed to the Christ Church Malacca, an 18th-century Anglican church. It is the oldest functioning Protestant church in Malaysia.
